Coronavirus in Ireland- Students warned not to commit to accommodation for academic year as others struggle – The Irish Sun

STUDENTS have been advised against committing to new lease arrangements for the upcoming academic year as there is no clarity on how third-level institutions will operate amid the Covid-19 pandemic.

The Union of Students in Ireland and national housing charity Threshold have teamed up to ensure that students are not left out of pocket and fighting for refunds on deposits and rent if their circumstances change due to Covid-19.
