THE Oireachtas paid over €10,000 on Covid-19 safety signage for use in the Convention Centre Dublin.

A 200 square-foot blue stage carpet and 200 headphones were also among the items bought for Dail and Seanad sittings in at the Convention Centre Dublin.

Documents released to the Irish Sun under Freedom of Information detailed the costs incurred by the Oireachtas to facilitate the move from Leinster House.

The state forked up €10,116.75 to label the Convention Centre with Covid-19 signage.

This included floor stickers with the words ‘stand here’, ‘stop here’, and ‘walk this way’ on them.
