Lioncor Properties, a joint venture between Alanis Capital and Oaktree Capital Group, plans to build more than 1,000 apartments within the Cherrywood strategic development zone (SDZ) in south Co Dublin.
Through the vehicle 1 Carrickmines Land, Lioncor has entered into talks with An Bord Pleanala about the prospect of building 1,189 build-to-rent units, a creche and associated works at a site in Priorsland. The village is located between the townlands of Carrickmines Great and Brennanstown, and falls within the Cherrywood SDZ in Carrickmines, Dublin 18.
The consultation is an early step in the strategic housing development system, which allows developers to apply directly to the national planning board to win approval for large-scale housing projects.
