Edmund Honohan, master of the High Court, is fighting the good fight once again on behalf of debtors. Only this time he’s the one in front of the judge. Last week Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown county council brought Honohan to the District Court over two unpaid parking tickets dating from 2016, one for €100 and another for €90.
Honohan, who did not respond to queries in time for publication, has been a consistent critic of banks and so-called vulture funds over the past decade.
Last week his own case was put back to April 12, giving him more time to hammer out his defence.
