PR guru Caroline Kennedy wins €23000 rent ruling over charity founder – The Times

A former charity founder has been ordered to pay Caroline Kennedy, whose PR firm represents household names such as the Merrion hotel, Brown Thomas and Land Rover, over €20,000 in arrears after he failed to pay rent during what he called a “horrific year”.

The Residential Tenancies Board (RTB) ruled in April that a “notice of termination” served by Kennedy on Tevian Mirrelson, founder of the donkey charity Asal Ireland, was valid. It ordered him to quit the property — an apartment on Heytesbury Street in Portobello, Dublin 8 — and pay his landlord arrears of €23,760. He has since moved out but the money has yet to be repaid.
