The advertising watchdog has rejected a claim that Sherry FitzGerald estate agents were using ‘stretching software’ to make properties look far bigger than they are.
An irate house-hunter in Galway had claimed that the online photos used by Sherry FitzGerald for rented properties in no way matched the rooms they saw in reality.
They claimed to the Advertising Standards Authority of Ireland that Sherry FitzGerald used software ‘to manipulate the photographs to make rooms appear more spacious to the customer using their site or a third party’s site’.
